Our Wildlife Rescue Projects & Goals

The Rockford Regional Wildlife Coalition is dedicated to providing a safe environment for all wildlife species in the Rockford community. We work tirelessly to rescue and rehabilitate injured, sick, and orphaned animals. Our team of state and federally licensed rehabilitators are passionate about wildlife conservation and public education. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance at life.

Communicate: We aim to set up and maintain a system to provide immediate assistance to those in the community who discover orphaned, sick, injured and displaced wildlife. We will also establish and maintain physical facilities in order to treat and rehabilitate wildlife for release.

Collaborate: We will partner with local veterinarians to provide proper medical treatment, and local land & property owners for release of rehabilitated wildlife. We will also recruit and train volunteers and rehabilitators to care for wildlife.

Protect Wildlife: We will mitigate the opportunity for animals to be placed into public residences which increases the risk of injury, disease and parasites to humans and domestic animals.
